The methods of analysis used on the focus group data are thematic network analysis and sentiment analysis. The analytical process involved several stages, including the identification of the overarching themes from the focus group notations and distilling those themes down to the most basic components. These themes were then arranged into three distinct hierarchical maps, each with organizing themes, basic themes, and explanations of the sentiment expressed by the focus groups.
