Water Resources
The Water Resources Department provides for the management and operation of City utilities, including drinking water, sanitary sewer and stormwater. The Department is responsible for planning, program development and implementation, enforcement, and regional coordination of public and environmental health as they relate to the water, sewer, and stormwater utilities.
Utility Operations is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the utility infrastructure.
Sustainability
Programs in the areas of sustainability and urban forestry complement Water Resource projects and programs as the City works to reduce its carbon footprint, enhance, and protect critical resources and improve the urban environment through the preservation and expansion of the forest canopy.
