Street Signs

The maintenance and upkeep of street signs is important to public safety.  The reflectivity and line-of-sight to roadway and street signs can change over time, leading to a safety issue that may not have been there previously.  Although City staff conduct an annual inspection and inventory of our street signs, your assistance is appreciated to identify issues before they become hazards.

Please report problems

If you see street signs that are down, damaged, or barely visible, please call Tumwater Transportation Operations at (360) 754-4150 (daytime and after-hours), or submit an online form to Report a Problem anytime. Staff will work to resolve the sign problem promptly.

Please be sure to include the type of sign, where it is located, and the street sign’s name (if possible) when leaving your message or submitting an online form.
