Community Gardens Grant Program Application
Please complete the application below. Staff will contact each applicant to discuss their proposed project. Payment for approved expenditures will be issued after a follow-up report with photos and itemized receipts have been submitted. No funds will be released until these documents are received.

Please describe the scope of your proposed Community Garden Project.
For example: structural details of the garden; operational plan (who it serves, management, goals); expected benefits the garden will have on the community, sustainability plans.
Community Gardens receiving grant funds must be located in the City of Tumwater limits. Please include your parcel ID # here.
Non Profit or Business Entity: Checks will be made out to the nonprofit organization or business entity listed below. They are responsible for releasing funds to the garden.
Proposed Budget: Please list the estimated/itemized coast for all expected purchases.

Acknowledgement
If approved, the applicant shall enter into an agreement with the City of Tumwater to ensure the completion of the project as described in this application. This agreement shall indicate that the applicant holds the City of Tumwater harmless from any and all claims emerging out of the project and all related activities. By signing this application, the applicant certifies that the information contained is true and complete and has been provided with the intention of obtaining financial assistance from the City of Tumwater for the project as described.
