Tumwater Parks & Recreation Class Proposal Form

Thank you for your interest in becoming an independent contracted instructor with Tumwater Parks and Recreation. Parks and Recreation is able to offer a wide variety of classes, sports, fitness programs and workshops because of instructors like you. 

Submit the Class Proposal Form below. Your class idea will be reviewed by the Recreation Staff who will supervise the program. If your class is accepted, you will work directly with assigned Recreation Staff to establish the class date(s), fee structure, space needs, etc. 

After submitting your class proposal, please email the following to Ashley Degner:

• Current resume or bio
• Course outline or syllabus (optional) 
• Brief lesson plan for at least one class session  
• Supply list (if required) including items, best place to buy and estimated cost
• Proposed handouts (optional)
• Photos or samples of your work (optional)
