Tumwater Internship Program

The City of Tumwater’s Intern Program is a great opportunity for students looking to gain experience in the daily operation of local government. Internships are designed to accommodate school schedules with some built-in flexibility designed for college students.

College interns

College level internships are available periodically, based on the needs of City programs. Paid internships are posted on the City’s job openings recruitment page and posted with local colleges and universities. College internships provide an opportunity for students to learn about the functions and services of local government and gain experience in a discipline or concentration within the context of a public agency.
