10 a.m. - 2 p.m. | Saturday, June 8| Pioneer Park
Dog Days celebrates the companionship between humans and our furry friends. They are our protectors, service providers, and companions - and we’ve set aside a day just for them! Join us to celebrate "Man’s Best Friend" as we kick off the summer season with Dog Days at Pioneer Park. Food, contests, demonstrations, community booths, "RUFFle" prizes, TwinStar Trails ‘N’ Tails Loop, and more! #tumwaterdogdays
Thank you to our Presenting Sponsor TwinStar Credit Union and this year's Vaccine Clinic Sponsor Toyota of Olympia.

Dog Days Safety Guidelines
While we're having fun, we also want to keep everyone safe and comfortable (pups and their pet parents alike)! The guidelines below were provided courtesy of Happy Dog Institute & Friends.
- Please make sure your dog is on a 5-6’ leash - no longer or retractable leashes please.
- Please keep your dogs close to you and give everybody plenty of space - crowds and lots of unknown dogs can be overwhelming! It’s okay to pass a dog without saying hi, in fact many prefer it that way.
- Always ask before doing a dog-dog meet and greet and keep it short and sweet, under three seconds.
- Bring treats! Be prepared to reward your dog for making good choices while at the event.
- Give your dog a break if they are starting to feel overwhelmed. If your dog is stressed by big crowds or other strange dogs, please let them stay home.
- If you are bringing adoptable rescue or foster dogs to the event, check with your rescue group first and give them lots of breaks as well.
- Please don’t leave your dog in the car unattended. Even with the windows cracked, a car can reach 100° in 10 minutes in 75°-degree weather.
- Last but not least, please clean up after your dog.
