Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Tumwater's Christmas Tree Lighting Festival!

1:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. | Saturday, December 7 | Tumwater City Hall & Headquarters Fire Station

All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or a High School Student seeking credit hours with parent or guardian approval.

Please dress appropriately for weather. Volunteers may be exposed to inclement weather conditions, noise, and allergens. Event will be held in both indoor and outdoor spaces and volunteers may be on their feet for the duration of the event.

Shift 1: 12:15 - 3:15 p.m. Shift 2: 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Please be prepared to work the entire shift that you select. We are not able to cover partial shifts. You may volunteer for multiple shifts.

Participant Waiver

I am fully aware of the risk inherent in this activity, including physical injury, damage to my property, or other consequences that may arise or result directly or indirectly from the activity. Being fully informed as to these risks and in consideration of the privilege of participation in this activity, I assume all risk of injury, damage and liability. I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the City of Tumwater and its officials, employees and agents from any claim or lawsuit for injury, illness, damage or other loss incurred during the period covered by this activity.

Emergency Authorization

I consent to my child’s participation in the activity/program of the Parks and Recreation Department and authorize the City of Tumwater and its employees or agents to provide emergency medical treatment for my child on my behalf. To the best of my knowledge, my child has no physical or other condition that would interfere with her/his participation.

Advertising Release

I give permission to have my photo, or photo of my child or children taken during the classes and activities to be used for publicity purposes by the Parks and Recreation Department.
