Operating Guidelines

These Operating Guidelines were developed to provide guidance to interpret and apply City of Tumwater Personnel and Operating Policies—guidelines are not intended to replace official policies.

Operating Guidelines are approved by the City Administrator and provided to employees in memo or standard policy format. Guidelines are generally delivered to employees by email or paper memo and are retained by the Administrative Services Department on the shared drive for reference.

Clarifications are made as necessary and distributed to employees and collective bargaining groups.
