The City is working to align its rules for the public use of parks with regulations for other City properties and facilities. Proposed amendments to the City code include updates on a variety of activities and uses like drone flying and horseback riding to loitering and overnight parking. These changes will eliminate confusion for the public and create efficiencies in the enforcement of rules and regulations.
This community meeting will include a brief overview of the proposed amendments. Following the presentation, attendees are invited to join City staff for small group conversations and share suggestions or concerns related to the public use of parks and City properties.
